The replacement interval depends on water quality and consumption. As a general rule, the microfiber filter in the showerhead is replaced every 2–4 months – you'll know it's time when the filter is clearly discolored. The aroma gel cartridge lasts about 6000 liters, which for a family of four means about 1–3 months of use.
Does the filter remove all limescale from the water?
The sediment filter effectively removes larger limescale particles and prevents their accumulation on the skin and surfaces. However, it is not a chemical water softener that would remove dissolved limescale.
