On its way from the waterworks to your home, water travels through kilometers of piping. Especially from old properties, small metal particles, such as iron and copper, and other sediment are constantly dissolving into the water.
This is visible as yellowish or brownish stains even on new bathroom tiles. The culprit is almost always iron in the water. The same iron and sediment can irritate the skin and hair. They dry out, can irritate sensitive skin, and make hair rough and lifeless.
