How often should a shower filter be changed?
The filter replacement interval depends on water quality and consumption, but a rule of thumb is 3–6 months. Many of our showerheads have a transparent body, so you can easily see when the filter is dirty and needs changing. This ensures that the filter always works effectively.
Does the filter remove all limescale from the water?
Our high-performance filter is a sediment filter that removes solid particles from the water, such as rust, metals, and larger limescale particles. It is not a chemical water softener, but even mechanical cleaning alone effectively reduces limescale-induced irritation and buildup on the scalp and hair.
Is it difficult to install a shower filter?
Not at all. Installation can be done in a minute without tools. Most filters are hand-tightened between the shower hose and the tap, or directly onto the showerhead, so no prior plumbing experience is required.
Are your showerheads and filters suitable for all showers?
Yes. All showerheads and filters we sell use the common European G1/2" standard thread. This is the same thread used in practically all shower hoses and taps in Finland, so compatibility is almost 100%.
Can I use an aroma cartridge without a filter?
Technically it's possible, but we don't recommend it. You'll get the best treatment results by using them together. The filter creates a clean base for the nourishing ingredients in the aroma gel. Without a filter, the aroma gel ingredients have to react with impurities in the water, which significantly reduces their effectiveness.
