The main function of the vitamin C filter is to neutralize chlorine, not to remove limescale. However, many of our showerheads contain a microfiber filter that collects larger particles from the water, such as rust and limescale deposits. This further improves water quality, but a separate water softener is needed for complete limescale removal.
How often should the filter cartridge be replaced?
The replacement frequency of the cartridge depends on water consumption. On average, one cartridge lasts for about 6000 liters of water, which for a family of four typically means 2–3 months of use. When the cartridge's scent weakens and the gel is used up, it's time to replace it with a new one.
Are the filters and showerheads suitable for all showers?
